All Saints Church, Wellingborough, a friendly church for all the family

Scaffolding during building work

The upkeep of All Saints Church is funded by voluntary contributions from the congregation and visitors.

A major appeal was launched in 2003 to raise £400,000 to restore and renovate the church. Sir David Frost accepted our invitation to be President of the Flame Alive Appeal.

English Heritage/Heritage Lottery and other national and local grant making trusts responded to our appeal. With their help and that of our regular church members, local businesses and friends we were able to start the work in summer 2005, for completion in summer 2006.

This is not the end of the story. Our aim is to maintain and improve our church buildings for the future.
