Organ Scholarship
Organ Console
Organ Scholarships and Bursaries are available from time to time through the auspices of the Ted Adams Music Fund. These are for young musicians between the ages of 10 and 18, who wish to begin, or to continue playing the organ. Applicants need to have reached at least Grade 2 level on the piano. The grants cover the cost of tuition, which will be available from Stephen Ostler ARAM, GRSM, LRAM, ARCM.
Students will receive access to the organ at All Saints for practice and will be given performance opportunities, according to attainment. In due course, once having attained a suitable standard, opportunities to play during occasional services may be offered.
Those interested should apply to the Parish Secretary at the Church Office (open Mon-Fri 8.45-11 am; tel: 01933-278484) for details, and an application form. Alternatively download our application form (PDF file - 40K).
Candidates who undergo the selection process should live within a twenty-mile radius of Wellingborough. The progress of scholars is reviewed annually, and Scholarships and Bursaries can be extended for subsequent years.
